Crankshaft Rear Seal Installation Tool - Petrol & Diesel Engines - VAG


AST5182 enables correct installation of the Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal on a range of VW group petrol and diesel engines. Located at the Flywheel end of Crankshaft , the Rear Oil Seal and Crankshaft Position Indicator Ring are housed within a flange plate and are installed as a single assembly.



• Essential Tool to ensure correct fitting of the sealing flange assembly

• Aids correct position of indicator ring and crankshaft seal

• Features adjustable pin locations to cover both petrol and diesel engines

• Equivalent to OE references T10134 and T10017

- 1.0 / 1.6 Petrol Engines covered by AST5140 Engine Setting / Locking Kit

- 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4 Petrol Engines covered by AST5145A Engine Setting / Locking Kit
