Diesel 1.6CDTi (Chain) Engine Setting / Locking Kit - OPEL/VAUXHALL

AST5210 covers engine setting / timing chain removal and installation procedures on 1.6 l four cylinder \'B16\' diesel engines installed in a number of Opel/Vauxhall models from 2013 onward.

The timing chain does not locate directly onto the crankshaft, instead the crankshaft gear meshes with an idler gear which features a chain sprocket. The chain is routed around the H.P. Pump and on to the inlet camshaft, which drive the exhaust camshaft through meshed gears.
