AST5224 holds the crankshaft sprocket and drive chain in position when the vibration damper is removed from the engine and is also used to rotate the crankshaft.

- Holds the crankshaft sprocket in place while removing the vibration damper.
- Also used to turn the crankshaft
- For EA888 Gen I, II and Gen III petrol engines with chain drive from 2008
- Suitable for VAG applications covered by the AST5125 engine setting/lockout kit
- Equivalent to OE reference T10531
