Walnut shell blasting device for cleaning clogging elements in the engine

Walnut granulate blasting device for gently cleaning coke in the intake tract of vehicle engines. The simultaneous blasting and suction of walnut granulate gently cleans the valves of hydrocarbon oil residues and thus improves the operating performance and service life of the engines. It is also possible to clean all parts that are affected by coking, such as the throttle valve, intake manifold, swirl flaps and exhaust gas recirculation valves.

Note: 2 kg of walnut granulate are already included in the delivery. This means that you can start cleaning the engine right away.
Depending on the degree of contamination, the granulate can be reused 5-10 times. The integrated filter catches the loosened coke and separates it from the granulate.

The compressor to be used must have a capacity of at least 7 bar, with an air flow of > 200 l/min.

Gentle and environmentally friendly cleaning of deposits on the engine
Simultaneous blasting and extraction - granulate can be used several times
Separation of walnut granulate and carbon deposits thanks to integrated dust filter
Residues of the granulate burn off completely in the engine without damaging it

In modern direct injection engines of all makes, the intake channels in the cylinder head and the intake valves are no longer cleaned compared to injectors in the intake manifold.
As a result of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), short distances, oil vapours, poor KS quality, too low speed and heavily shaped intake, hydrocarbon oil residues are deposited after a while of time and operating time.
The initial effects are fluctuating engine speed, poor throttle response, exhaust gas values and acceleration due to incorrectly swirling intake air.
In later stages, the deposits can prevent the intake valve from closing completely and giving off heat, which can lead to total failure. There is also a risk that loosened deposits will cause engine damage.
Poor combustion also exposes other engine parts to increased wear.

It is therefore advisable to clean the intake tract every 40-50,000 km or after 2 years of operation. This is done particularly gently and easily with the walnut powder blasting device.
Walnut granulate is a natural polishing material. Softer than metal, but harder than carbon deposits. This means that impurities in the engine can be gently removed without damaging the engine.
If small amounts of granulate residue remain in the engine after cleaning, there is no risk of damage because the material burns off without leaving any residue, even at low engine temperatures.

Application:
Remove the intake manifold.
Caution: Before cleaning, check that the intake valves are closed. If necessary, turn the crankshaft (in the direction of rotation of the engine).
Connect the hoses to the walnut powder blasting device.
Open the lid of the device, remove the filter and fill with 2-4 kg of walnut granulate (Ø 0.4-0.8 mm).
Insert the filter and close the lid properly.
Connect an air compressor (min. 7 bar) to the blasting device via the compressed air connection.
Put on suitable protective clothing (safety glasses, gloves if necessary).
Connect the device to the power supply and switch it on.
Attach the appropriate accessory to the suction hose to close the valve opening properly.
Insert the gun through the opening of the suction nozzle.
Cleaning can now begin. The intensity of the jet can be adjusted on the gun if necessary.
